Removal of Asbestos Insulating Board from Yeadon Westfield Junior School

Ensuring a safe, asbestos-free environment for the creation of a new classroom.

BLS Asbestos was commissioned to remove all asbestos insulating board ceilings throughout the old caretaker’s house to make way for a new classroom project.

The works were carried out over the Easter period when the school was at minimum occupancy so as not to impact on the day-to-day running of the facility.

After BLS had completed its works, a full classroom upgrade was undertaken to give the local area more infant intake places.
